The Welcome Speech
While still more and more guests are queueing and streaming into this year’s #DLD12 conference venue, DLD founders and directors Steffi Czerny and Marcel Reichart alongside chairmen Hubert Burda and Yossi Vardi give their warm welcome speech.
Both Hubert Burda and Bavarian Deputy Prime Minister Martin Zeil praise Bavaria as a tech hub and unique place, in a friendly competition with Berlin. “Bavaria is the very best part Germany has to offer,” Zeil says.
“There is a deep change in media and society,” Burda addresses the #DLD12 community, introducing this years’ program. “When media are changing, then society starts to change.”
