Tonight is the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, the crown jewel of Washington’s JV social scene and an annual excuse for hordes of staffers and journalists to get down on free booze and take surreptitious iPhone photos of celebrities. This year we’ve asked Jon Lovett, former White House speechwriter and current Hollywood macher, to take over our @GQPolitics Twitter handle and serve as our Virgil over the course of this very strange weekend.

I got back to the hotel and basically flung my heels across the room. I realize that I didn’t take a single photo of my WHCD outfit tonight. The chances of me putting it back on just to pose in the mirror are nonexistent, but I can still highlight my favorite part; the vintage bracelet that belonged to my grandma. Gorgeous.
